WHO WE ARE
Home Harmony is a household support service for people with mental health struggles or physical disabilities. We've been helping the community of Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding counties by providing judgement-free household help since 2017.
Each person who works for Home Harmony knows how to really listen to your story and help you come up with solutions that work for your unique situation. We work beside you as peers, not over or below you. You aren't hiring a high-and-mighty expert and you aren't hiring a maid - you're hiring a teammate.
WHAT WE DO
We specialize in crisis management and big project undertakings. Things that will refuel your soul. Community members who live with chronic mental illness such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety find our services extremely valuable, but everyone could benefit from having a little harmony in their home.

A major part of working with us is understanding that:
-
We trust that you know yourself, your home, and the kind of help you need
-
We respect your belongings and won't make sweeping changes without your express consent and buy-in
-
We believe that we are equals working alongside each other. If there is a task that you would culturally be expected to do to maintain your home, then it isn't "below us" to do it for you or with you
-
We don’t measure progress by the amount of things you throw/give away
-
We pay attention to your mental and emotional state throughout the visit and if things get overwhelming we can talk about it and/or switch tasks
-
You get to be your quirky self. ❤️ We empower people to create new ways of doing things vs shaming them to conform what society expects things to look like
